The Bodegas Heredos de Argueso S.A. were founded in 1822. The ageing and maturing process of Manzanillas is carried out in wine cellars with an area of more than 20,000 square metres, located in the old part of the centre of the town of Sanlucar de Barrameda. Only casks of American oak, which have previously been impregnated with wine, are used for the ageing and maturing process of the Manzanillas. This is the most honoured and highly acclaimed Manzanilla by experts, always achieving first place in professional wine tastings. It is golden yellow in colour, very clean and fruity, full-bodied with an intensely dry and incisive bouquet, dry and ample to the palate, so complex that all the aromas can be detected without any particular one standing out, resulting in a delicate lingering taste. Try with acorn-fed Iberico ham or marinated green olives.
Notes from the winery:" This wine is made from 100% Paloino Fino grapes in Salucar de Barrameda, using the same methods as used in fino production. Pale in colour, it has a classic nose of toasted uts, flor, chamomile and sea spray. The palate is complex but sublte, with flavours of toasted nuts and sea spray that were fisrt detected on the nose, but with a refreshing sharpness of apples."
