Driving along “Prosecco Road”, across the hills from Conegliano to Valdobbiadene, you arrive at the enchanting village of Refrontolo. Created in 1960, Cantina Bernardi is today in the hands of brothers Adriano and Pierluigi Bernardi.
Their style is for traditional, serious Prosecco yet with a clean, fruit-driven modernity.
A delicious, easy drinking lightly sparkling style of Prosecco with a mischievous sapidity as an Italian might say. The nose suggests blanched almonds, white flowers and pear skin; the palate is soft and clean with apple and quince fruit flavours with a naturally off-dry finish.
