Domaine Chaume-Arnaud is organically managed and comprises of 13.5 ha of vineyards planted on slopes and terrasses around the village of Vinsobres, the soils are stony and poor on the slopes and somewhat richer on the terrasses. Harvest in done by hand and yields are kept very low. The Domaine is owned and run by husband and wife team Philippe Chaume and Valerie Chaume-Arnaud.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault this dark-coloured Cotes du Rhone has a rich and velvety character. Very inviting nose, sweetly fruited, with gamey/meaty hints. Gorgeously ripe and juicy cherry, plum and cream on the palate with discreet spices. Fine tannins and acidity on the finish hold and balance this brilliant wine very well. |
