Domaine Chaume-Arnaud is organically managed and comprises of 13.5 ha of vineyards planted on slopes and terrasses around the village of Vinsobres, the soils are stony and poor on the slopes and somewhat richer on the terrasses. Harvest in done by hand and yields are kept very low. The Domaine is owned and run by husband and wife team Philippe Chaume and Valerie Chaume-Arnaud.
Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault and old vine Carignan blend. The nose is rich and profound, with dark fruit, cherry and hints of bacon and spices. The palate is ample, velvety and caressing, its full-bodied character shows great warmth and plenty of sweet, creamy fruits with hints of game, herbs and smoke. This big, earthy wine ends with finely grained tannins.
