Henri and Janet are the second generation of the Bungener family to exploit Clos de Caveau, a charming estate made up of a single 20-ha plot situated just south of the Gigondas appellation, well outside the village of Vacqueyras. The Domaine’s isolation makes it perfect for organic viticulture and it obtained its certification in 1993. The varietals here are Grenache (70%), Syrah (20%), Cinsault and Mourvedre.
