Champagne J.M GOBILLARD, Hautvillers
Situated in the heart of Champagne, the incomparable site of Hautvillers dominates the vineyards with its abbey, in which the cellar master (monk) Dom Perignon produced some of the first Champagne bubbles in 1681.
Maison JM Gobillard is a small family-owned and run property with about 25 hectares of mainly 1er Cru vineyards in Hautvillers. The viticultural methods are resolutely orientated towards quality, with hand-harvesting and yields limitation resulting in extremely elegant and racy Champagnes .
This delicate Champagne develops scents of freshly picked strawberry, raspberry, brioche with a classy leafy edge. The delicate bubbles and light pink colour combined with its perfect balance of fruit ripeness, liveliness and acidity turns this delicious rose into a dangerously moreish offer.
