STÉPHANE VEDEAU, La Boussolle
Renowned winemaker Stéphane Vedeau is behind these amazing wines. The vines are tended using ‗Lutte Raisonnée‘ methods, the yields are low and the result is a range of wines showing great concentration and purity with spot-on varietal character.
The Viognier is grown on siliceous soils of Pyrenean origin and is mature for 8 months in stainless steel tanks, on its fine lees. It is superbly balanced with a bright, complex floral nose with white fruit, sun-drenched orchard fruit, peaches and hints of lychee. The palate is zesty, exhibiting multi-layers of ripe, juicy fruit, ginger and honey.
