Thierry Hasard left his job as an accountant in 1996 to work full-time in his 9-ha estate in the St-Georges d’Orques area. The estate comprises of no less than 20 different parcels (little gardens as Thierry calls them). “I really believe in stones” he says, he has actually had 20+ lorry-loads of stones added to some parcels to create “macro-porosity”, causing outrage to the locals whose forebears had painstakingly removed stones from the very same vineyards.
"Mourvedre, Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. Utterly delicious, the nose is ripe, intense, sweet and spicy with a liqueur-like richness and delicious spicy earthiness. The palate is sweetly-fruited, with juicy black cherry, strawberry and boasts an extraordinary length."
