This estate was officially born in 2002, when Domaine Lucien Boillot was split
between brothers Louis and Pierre. Louis Boillot inherited 7 ha of vineyards in both Cotes de Nuits and Cote de Beaune
and has recently moved his cellar with his wife Ghislaine Barthod in Chambolle-Musigny.
The consistency of Louis’s range is quite impressive; his wines are whistle-clean, deeply-flavoured and elegant Burgundies.
“Having moved from Volnay to a newly-expanded facility he shares with his wife, Ghislaine Barthod, Louis Boillot fields a large and geographically diverse range of generally impressive, pure-fruited Pinots.” Wine Advocate
"Wonderfully ripe and luscious texture, with compact flavours of black cherry, and creamy strawberry, perfectly balanced by a racy acidity and well-integrated tannins follows a moderately perfumed nose of violet, dark berries and woodlands."
