Located in the heart of Gascony, on one of the famous St-Jacques de Compostelle road "Via Podensis", Domaine de Menard comprises of 120 ha of vineyards. The soils are mainly limestone and clay with huge amounts of marine fossils.
Cuvee Marine is a blend of Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Gros manseng, three grapes typically grown in South West France.
Very aromatic, with scents of white flowers, pear drop and honey suckle, the palate is crisp and gives an instant impression of freshness. Very clean, with exuberant flavours of aniseed, exotic fruit, pear and menthol hints, it ends with fresh, gripping notes of minerals. |
