His well-structured, long-lived wines are a breath of fresh air in an area where grapes are traditionally grown for quick sale to the large Negociant houses of Beaune.

"2005 was a superb vintage for red Burgundies and Jean Claude Regnaudot`s are no exception. The wine is dark-coloured, the nose is dense, lively, with enticing aromas of blackberries, the palate has fresh raspberry fruit, the ending is perfectly balanced.
