A family business since 1781, Sanchez Romate produce premium sherries from their own vineyards, 100 ha on some of the best sites in the Jerez region. At the turn of the 20th century they were appointed Purveyors to the Royal Family of Spain, to the Vatican and to the House of Lords. The Reserves Especiales and La Sacristia de Romate sherries are the top ranges produced by the company.
Notes from the winery:" Its dark mahogany tones enclose a heady aroma. This oloroso is a perfect wine with appetizers and ideal as a pleasant evening drink. Smooth and seductive, full bodied and less dry than an amontillado, the extensive ageing lends it depth and a perfect roundness."
