After learning his trade with Joseph Roty, Philippe established his own Domaine some 20 years ago. While Philippe’s style was for rustic, yet fine and subtle pinot noir wines, delivering their best after 3 to 5 years cellaring, the last few vintages have seen a shift towards more fruit-driven, soft-in-their-youth wines.
Ripe, rich wine with plenty of Pinot noir character; leafy, black cherry and raspberry fruit on the nose, full-flavoured palate with dark fruit, leather and hint of smoke and oak on its fresh, firm finish.
